Statement Of Intent

For my fairtrade fashion adverts, I intend to follow the codes and conventions of existing fashion brands billboard posters. I will do this by having simplistic design but still be effective so that it stands out to the audience. My logo, slogan and brand all like to fairtrade as 'right' is another word for fair. As my name for my brand has 'apparel' at the end i feel like this makes it more realistic. The fonts I have used for my logo and slogan are very effective as they are bold and clear to see. My target audience is AB audience demographic; mainly women ages 16-25. To make my brand appeal to this audience I intend to use female models of the same age group on my billboards. This will be so that the audience can relate to the models. t will also appeal to them as the clothing will be on trend and very fashionable. The first location will be a cotton field because fairtrade products use cotton and the second location will be trees and plants because it is natural and links to fairtrade.
